Investment process

The organisational approach to the investment process is an important element of infrastructure projects undertaken by GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. In the implementation of strategic projects, the company is strongly involved in the investment process.

This means that it tenders for pipeline engineering contracts are conducted directly by GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. and the company participates in obtaining all administrative decisions required by law.

In addition, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. organises tenders for the purchase of piping and fittings and enters into direct contracts with the manufacturers of the necessary construction materials.

Another step in the process consists in the organisation of separate tenders for the construction of particular pipelines. Contractors  provide their services using investor-supplied materials (pipes and fittings).

Investment prosess:

• Gas pipeline route engineering taking into account safety, formal, legał and environmental requirements and technical conditions.
• Administrative decisions opinions approvals obtained from individual administrawe bodies. where the "special gas act" applies, the decisions are issued by the competent voivode.
• Building permit and construction - based on the building permit decision, the contractor selected by gaz-system carries out construction works within the property coyered by the location decision.
• Compensation payments made on the basis of an administrawe decision is issued by the voivod.
