The gas pipeline will be located in the Lublin and Podkarpackie provinces. Its route will run through the municipalities of Końskowola, Żyrzyn, Kurów, Wąwolnica, Poniatowa, Chodel, Bełżyce, Urzędów, Dzierzkowice, Kraśnik, Trzydnik Duży, Zaklików, and Radomyśl nad Sanem.

Project route and location:
The gas pipeline will be located in the Lublin and Podkarpackie provinces. Its route will run through the municipalities of Końskowola, Żyrzyn, Kurów, Wąwolnica, Poniatowa, Chodel, Bełżyce, Urzędów, Dzierzkowice, Kraśnik, Trzydnik Duży, Zaklików, and Radomyśl nad Sanem.
Benefits
The gas pipeline is part of the Central – East Corridor investment programme. Together with the planned Rozwadów-Strachocina gas pipeline and the already constructed Gustorzyn-Wronów connection, it will constitute the main transmission artery in central and southern Poland and eastern Poland, creating a two-way gas transport route from Lithuania, through Poland to Slovakia, and in the future also reaching Ukraine. It will also enable the transmission of gas supplied through the planned FSRU terminal in Gdańsk. This will optimise the operation of the transmission system and ensure security of supply.
The investment is part of the energy transition concept through the development of the domestic natural gas market and increasing the possibilities of connecting industrial customers, including energy and heat producers, to the network.
An important benefit for the local community will be the property tax paid annually by GAZ-SYSTEM, amounting to up to 2% of the value of the transmission infrastructure built in a given municipality. This will be a regular contribution to the budget, which can be allocated to the needs of local communities.

Legal basis
The project is implemented on the basis of the provisions of the Act of 24 April 2009 on investments in regasification terminal for liquefied natural gas in Świnoujście (for consolidated text see Journal of Laws of 2025, item 1222).

Consultations are conducted in the form of office hours and individual meetings with residents, without the need for prior registration.
During the meetings, interested parties can learn about the scope and schedule of the project, the route of the gas pipeline, and the compensation payment procedure, among other things.
Administrative decisions
Environmental Decision:
On 30 September 2025, the Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Lublin issued decision ref. no.: WOOŚ.420.29.2024. KK.24 on the environmental conditions for the project entitled: ‘Construction of a DN1000 MOP 8.4 MPa high-pressure gas pipeline between Wronów and Rozwadów, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation.’
Decision on determining the location
On 19 December 2025, the Governor of Lublin Province issued decision ref. IF-II.747.42.2025.WK on determining the location of an investment accompanying investments in the liquefied natural gas regasification terminal in Świnoujście for the investment entitled: "Construction of the DN1000 MOP 8, 4MPa between Wronów and Rozwadów, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation‘ as part of the investment project entitled ’Construction of the Rembelszczyzna-Wronów-Rozwadów-Strachocina gas pipeline, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation in the Mazowieckie, Lubelskie and Podkarpackie provinces".
On 26 November 2025, the Podkarpackie Province Governor issued decision no. 1/21/25 on determining the location of an investment accompanying the investment in a liquefied gas regasification terminal in Świnoujście for the investment project entitled: ‘Construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline DN 1000 MOP 8.4 MPa between Wronów and Rozwadów, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation.’
Building permit decision:
On 12 May 2026, the Lublin Province Governor issued Decision No. 32/26, ref. IF-I.7840.4.3.2026. AT, approving the land development plan and the architectural and construction design, and granted a building permit for the construction project entitled: “Construction of a DN1000 MOP 8.4MPa gas pipeline between Wronów and Rozwadów, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation”. As part of the project: “Construction of the Rembelszczyzna-Wronów-Rozwadów-Strachocina gas pipeline, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation, in the provinces of Mazovia, Lublin and Subcarpathia”.
On 16 April 2026, the Podkarpackie Province Governor issued Decision No. 6/2026, ref. no.: I-XIII.7840.1.1.2026, approving the land-use plan and the architectural and construction design, and granted a building permit for the construction project entitled: “Construction of a DN1000 MOP 8.4MPa gas pipeline between Wronów and Rozwadów, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation”. As part of the project: “Construction of the Rembelszczyzna–Wronów–Rozwadów–Strachocina gas pipeline, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation, in the provinces of Mazovia, Lublin and Subcarpathia”.

Compensation payments
Under a special act regulating gas infrastructure projects, compensation payments are guaranteed to the owners of the land affected by the project development.
The compensation payment process is carried out in accordance with an administrative procedure, under the supervision of the competent Voivode. First, an independent expert is commissioned to carry out an assessment, which is the basis for determining the amount of compensation. Upon completion of the construction process, the Voivode issues an administrative decision specifying the amount of compensation due.
