DOCUMENTS AND APPLICATIONS
A transmission contract is the basic contract enabling the use of gaseous fuel transmission services. It is concluded for an indefinite period and constitutes the basis for submitting applications for capacity/ability allocation at entry and exit points of the transmission system. Within the scope of your access rights in the IES, you may view the transmission contract and related capacity allocations.
In accordance with the provisions of the Transmission Network Code, an entity applying for terms of connection may submit an application for connection conditions and/or information on the possibility of connection, together with the required attachments, exclusively via the Information Exchange System (IES).
After logging into the IES, navigate to: Contracts → Transmission NTS → List of applications for transmission contract and click Add.
During the application process for a transmission contract, assistance is provided by your Customer assistant. Information about your Customer assistant is available on the IES home page after logging in.
More information: https://www.gaz-system.pl/en/for-customers/services-in-the-nts/gas-transmission-nts.html
Yes. An EIC (Energy Identification Code) is required in order to conclude a transmission contract.
If you do not have an EIC code, you should submit an application in accordance with the instructions available at: https://www.gaz-system.pl/en/for-customers/market-information/eic-local-issuing-office.html
For internal points, applications for capacity allocation are submitted via the IES.
For interconnection points, capacity is allocated through auctions conducted on dedicated auction platforms.

NOMINATIONS AND ALLOCATIONS
A daily nomination is a notification submitted by a Shipper. It specifies the planned quantities of gaseous fuel to be transported during individual hours of the gas day for points at which the Shipper holds allocated capacity. If you have the appropriate rights in the IES, you may submit nominations /re-nominations.
To submit a nomination/renomination, go to Contract handling→Nominations/renominations→List of daily (re)nominations, click Add and complete the form.
Detailed instructions are available under User →Manuals → Nomination/renomination submission.
Nominations may be submitted:
- directly using the edig@s format and the AS4 protocol, from back-end system of the shipper,
- through the Information Exchange System (IES):
- by filling the appropriate online form,
- uploading a message file in edig@s standard (or several messages packed into one *.zip file),
- uploading a nomination from an Excel form.
Renominations may be submitted no later than two (2) hours before the gas hour to which the change applies. For example, if a renomination is intended to take effect from 10:00 a.m. on a given gas day, it must be submitted before 8:00 a.m.
The status of a submitted nomination is available under Contract handling → Nominations/renominations → List of daily (re)nominations. To find a specific nomination or re-nomination and check its status, use filters and search by its ID, submission date, and submission time.
Operative and settlement allocations can be submitted in the IES under Contract handling → Receiver/ISO/DSO allocations. After selecting Add indicate the Point ID, for which the allocation is being created (and, in the case of operative allocations, also select the Publication type),then enter the values for the respective contracts. To submit an allocation, measurement data for the relevant period must already be available in the IES. Allocations can also be uploaded from a file.
Detailed instructions are available under User → Manuals→Allocation submission.
Allocations are performed using measurements data available in the IES. Operative allocations are based on operative measurements data, while settlement allocations are based on settlement data agreed with GAZ-SYSTEM.
Operative and settlement allocations are submitted via the IES under Contract handling → Receiver/SO/DSO allocations. Allocations may also be submitted in the Edig@s format (using the MARSIT message) via the AS4 protocol.
Operative allocations must be submitted:
- for the first 4 hours of the gas day: by 12:00 (measurement data available up to 11.00);
- for the first 8 hours of the gas day: by 16:00 (measurement data available up to 15.00);
- for the entire gas day: by 10:00 on the following gas day (measurement data available up to 8.00).
A settlement allocation must be submitted by the seventh (7th) business day following the end of the month to which the allocation relates.
Settlement measurement data are available by the 5th business day following the end of the month.
The allocation status is displayed in the allocation list Contract handling/Receiver/ISO/DSO in the IES. The status “Accepted” indicates that the allocation has been successfully accepted by the system.
BILLING DATA AND MEASUREMENTS
Billing and measurements data are available after logging into the IES under the Measurements tab. The scope of the data displayed depends on the User’s access rights and the assigned metering points.
Operational data are made available according to the following schedule:
- data for the first 4 hours of the gas day: by 11:00,
- data for the first 8 hours of the gas day: by 15:00,
- data for the entire gas day: by 08:00 on the following gas day.
Operative data are provided for informational purposes and are published on an ongoing basis. Billing data are published after the end of the relevant month following verification and approval. Billing data constitute the basis for invoicing and settlements.
Financial documents are available under Contracts → Invoices. Please note that appropriate access rights are required to view invoices. If you do not have the necessary permissions, please contact your Administrator within the Organisation (AWO) or email us at klient@gaz-system.pl.
