Project status:
- The construction of the Gustorzyn - Wronow gas pipeline was completed in 2023.

The pipeline is located in the Łódź, Mazovian and Lublin Voivodeships. The route pass through the territory of 15 municipalities: Rawa Mazowiecka; Regnów, Sadkowice; Mogielnica; Wyśmierzyce; Radzanów; Stara Błotnica; Jedlińsk; Głowaczów; Kozienice; Sieciechów; Gniewoszów; Żyrzyn; Puławy; Końskowola.
The aim of the project was to build a high pressure gas pipeline from Gustorzyn to Leśniewice, which will enable the transmission of increased volumes of gas to Warsaw and Łódź agglomerations, Radom and its surroundings, and to the south-eastern regions of the country. The planned investment has also have an impact on the development of local infrastructure.
An important benefit for the local community is the property tax paid annually by GAZ-SYSTEM in the amount of up to 2% of the value of the transmission infrastructure under construction located in the territory of a given municipality. This amount is regular contribution to the local budget which may be spent on community needs.

The project was implemented on the basis of the provisions of the Act of 24 April 2009 on investments in regasification terminal for liquefied natural gas in Świnoujście (for consolidated text see Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1836).
The construction of the gas pipeline received funding under Measure 11.2 Support for smart gas infrastructure for energy transition under Priority Axis XI of REACT-EU OPI&E 2014-2020.
The European Commission has granted the PCI (Project of Common Interest) status to the project. More information on the significance of the PCI status for the development of gas transmission infrastructure can be found in the dedicated section on PCI projects.

Under a special act regulating gas infrastructure projects, compensation payments are guaranteed to the owners of the land affected by the project development.
The compensation payment process is carried out in accordance with an administrative procedure, under the supervision of the competent Voivode. First, an independent expert is commissioned to carry out an assessment, which is the basis for determining the amount of compensation. Upon completion of the construction process, the Voivode issues an administrative decision specifying the amount of compensation due.
