Expansion of the Polish gas transmission system

The Baltic Pipe project also included the expansion and modernisation of the Polish natural gas transmission system. The import and transmission of natural gas through the offshore gas pipeline and its further distribution to customers within the country required additional investments in Poland. The offshore gas pipeline land on the Baltic Sea shore in the vicinity of Niechorze and Pogorzelica in the Rewal municipality. In addition, gas compressor stations was built and modernised.

GAZ-SYSTEM, which owns the infrastructure, was responsible for its design, construction and now operation.
