Consultation on the 2027–2036 development plan for transit gas pipeline system in Poland
GAZ-SYSTEM has launched consultation on the draft National Ten-Year Development Plan for Transmission System in 2027–2036 regarding the Polish section of the Yamal–Europe gas infrastructure. The plan is intended to ensure security and provide necessary adjustments to the system to meet the growing demand for gaseous fuels.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 16(3) of Energy Law of 10 April 1997 (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2026, item 43) and in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Transmission Network Code for the Polish Section of the Yamal–Europe Transit Gas Pipeline System (SGT), in consultation with the Energy Regulatory Office GAZ–SYSTEM has commenced drafting the 2027–2036 National Ten-Year Development Plan (KDPR 2027–2036) – Part B concerning the entrusted SGT infrastructure, in consideration of the present and future demand for gaseous fuels.
Pursuant to Article 16(15) of the Energy Law, all parties and entities concerned, including current and potential users of the transmission system, are invited to review the excerpts from the draft 2027–2036 National Ten-Year Development Plan – Part B.
Any comments or remarks should be submitted in the completed form to the email address: planrozwoju@gaz-system.pl by 23 April 2026, 3.00 pm.
As it has been the case with previous development plans agreed with the President of the Energy Regulatory Office, the next stage in the preparation of the National Ten-Year Development Plan will involve analysis of comments, suggestions and expectations of market participants, followed by filing the amended draft of the National Ten-Year Development Plan - Part B to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office for approval.
