28 April 2021 The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) has confirmed that Gas Inside Information Platform ( https://www.gasinsideinformationplatform.pl/) has successfully passed the second phase of assessment for conformity with REMIT Regulation and meets the requirements of the Agency. Thus, the first platform in Poland to publish REMIT Inside Information for natural gas has been recognised as the official Inside Information Platform for natural gas.
According to the REMIT Regulation, wholesale energy and gas market participants are required to publish Inside information as "Urgent Market Messages" (UMM). This shall include, however is not limited to, information on the capacity and use of facilities for production, storage or transmission of electricity or natural gas or facilities consuming electricity or natural gas or information on the capacity and use of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, including scheduled and unscheduled unavailability of these facilities.
On 20 November 2020, the Agency published an open letter reminding that by 1 January 2021, Market Participants should implement the requirements indicated in the ACER Guidance, namely should select a publicly available platform to publish the Inside Information, from the official list of platforms of the Agency (link to the open letter).
