The first platform for publishing REMIT inside information for natural gas
Participants in the wholesale gas market may now use the Gas Inside Information Platform (GIIP) - a publicly available platform for publishing inside information. It also allows to fulfil the obligations imposed by the UE Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT).
According to this Regulation, the obligation to publish the so-called inside information (in the form of Urgent Market Messages - UMM) has been imposed on the participants of the wholesale energy market. They concern, among others, the capacity and use of systems for the transmission of natural gas and electricity, including their planned and unplanned unavailability. Thanks to the publication of UMMs, all market participants have equal access to information on the availability of infrastructure and can make business decisions based on reliable and verified knowledge, which is available in one place.
The platform offers a range of services, including: free access to all published messages, automatic download of messages via web feeds or searching through publications using extended filters.
