The construction of the gas pipeline has been split into two stages:

The high-pressure Lwówek-Odolanów gas pipeline is going to be built basing on state-of-the art and reliable technologies, using top quality materials and cutting edge security systems. The entire venture will be secured with professional investment and environmental supervision. The gas pipeline route mostly goes across the protection zone of already existing pipelines and therefore no new restrictions are to be generated for the land owners. Owing to this investment, local budgets will be provided with the real estate tax, amounting to 2% of the gas infrastructure, located within the premises of a particular commune.
GAZ-SYSTEM has acquired subsidies for construction of the Lwówek-Odolanów gas pipeline, within the Infrastructure and Environment Program 2014-2020. The EU funds are estimated to exceed PLN 472 million. The European Commission has granted the investment a status of “The Project of EU meaning”. In 2016 GAZ-SYSTEM concluded agreements with the Oil and Gas Institute – the National Research Institute, to be performed under the Infrastructure and Environment Program, for the total of over PLN 1 billion.
