GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. held workshops on the operation of the Information Exchange System (IES)
The principles of offering capacity at interconnectors through auctions and the new functionalities of the Information Exchange System were discussed during the workshops.
The Information Exchange System (IES) is an IT platform launched in May 2011, which was dedicated to publish information on the website www.gas-system.pl and exchange data between GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. and market participants. The objective is for the Customer/Market participant to gain access to all the information he requires, and the improvements which have been introduced mean that the use of the IES will be even more user-friendly and intuitive.
At the end of 2013, the number of active external IES users (Customers) was 503, whand 286 internal users (GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. employees).
GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. organized workshops in connection with the requirements of:
- the Network Code for the Capacity Allocation Mechanism (NC CAM) in gas transmission systems,
- the Transmission Network Code (TNC) approved on 22 November 2013.
Interactive examples of capacity allocation in the auction procedure in the IES were presented during the training.

Simulation of a capacity auction via the IES platform. Agnieszka Siewiera from the Customer Relations Department, as well as Katarzyna Łączyńska and Anna Wąsiewicz from the Transmission Agreements Department at GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. played the role of Customers of the Transmission Service.
