Gas supplies through Ukraine to Poland uninterrupted
In connection with a gas explosion on the Urengoj-Pomary-Uzhorod pipeline in Ukraine, Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. advises that the said incident has no effect on gas supplies to Poland.GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. off-takes gas to the Polish transmission system in the Drozdowicze point at the Polish-Ukrainian border in amounts ordered by customers.The Company is regularly in contact with a Ukrainian gas transmission company (Ukrtransgaz) and monitors gas supplies through Ukraine to Poland.
GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., as a national transmission system operator, has developed contingency plans for interruptions in gas supplies from Ukraine, which allow to cover the entire demand for gas in Poland.
In the case of any problems with gas supplies to Poland through the Drozdowicze point, up-to-date information will be presented on the GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. website. At present, the natural gas demand of all Polish customers is satisfied.
