We carry out a dialogue with suppliers

Photo of the article On 22 May 2015, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. organised another meeting with suppliers. This time the company carried out a dialogue with construction supervision contractors. Thirty persons representing twenty six companies participated in the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the investment plans and the plan of contracts for construction supervision until the year 2023. The participants also discussed the expectations of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. with regard to standards of construction supervision, new solutions in the field of supervision and the quality assurance system in the process of implementation of investment projects. In addition, specific requirements for the conduct of hazardous work and gas hazardous work, and for environmental protection were presented.
“The participation of the supervision contractor in the process of implementation of the project begins when they start their work, but the effective supervision is also affected by earlier stages related to the preparation for the start of construction. Therefore, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. will require a greater involvement of construction supervision contractors, and will increase its own participation in the project preparation process,” says Jakub Stypuła, director of the Investment Division.
The participants also discussed the principles for the assessment of suppliers and the basis for their inclusion on the List of Reliable Suppliers, which is the basis for the preparation of the Ranking List of Suppliers.
“The contracts being implemented and the contractors are subject to ongoing control and evaluation. Each contract is evaluated according to three criteria: quality, timeliness and co-operation with the contracting authority. Continuous attention to quality of work is a guarantee that one will remain on the List of Reliable Suppliers, and a high position in the ranking is a chance to be awarded contracts in other investment projects of GAZ–SYSTEM S.A.,” says Anna Bednarek, Director of the Procurement Division.
