The value of the transmission assets of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. has increased to over PLN 3 billion
The Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. on 15 October 2008, took over the transmission assets worth almost PLN 950 million in the form of an in-kind contribution made by the State Treasury, which was transferred by the Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG) as a dividend in-kind from the profits for 2007. In this way, the value of the transmission assets constituting the property of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. increased to over PLN 3 billion. Pursuant to the updated "Policy for the natural gas industry" another transfer in the form of an in-kind contribution made by the State Treasury to GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. is planned for 2009 within a dividend in-kind from the profit of PGNiG for the year 2008.
