Tests of natural gas offtake from the LNG Terminal
As of 7 January 2016, Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., Polskie LNG and PGNiG S.A. will start testing the offtake of natural gas from the LNG Terminal in Świnoujście to the national transmission system. Pursuant to the agreement signed between Polskie LNG S.A. and PGNiG S.A., the natural gas purchased for the purposes of the commissioning of the LNG Terminal will be delivered by PGNiG S.A. to the transmission system.
The specifications of liquefied natural gas which has been delivered to the LNG terminal in Świnoujście and, after regasification, will be delivered to the transmission system are as follows:
Methane - 93.02%
Ethane - 6.32%
Propane – 0.10%
Nitrogen – 0.56%
The gas delivered to the transmission system during the commissioning of the LNG Terminal will conform to the specification requirements set out in the Transmission Network Code of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., in Regulation of the Minister of Economy of 2 July 2010 concerning detailed conditions of gas system operation (Journal of Laws 2014, item 1059, consolidated text), and will be consistent with the applicable Polish Standard PN-C-04752:2011.
