Resumed transmission of gas to Ukraine
Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. informs that the present situation in the transmission system allows to transmit gas via the Hermanowice point to Ukraine, in line with the customer’s demand. GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. also advises that the transmission system is fully balanced and the situation of gas supply from the East is subject to regular monitoring. Gas is supplied to customers in Poland in line with their demand.
The service of gas transmission via the Hermanowice point to Ukraine has been provided by GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. since November 2012 on the so-called "interruptible basis". It means . that it may be interrupted or limited due to gas flow conditions prevailing in the Polish or Ukrainian networks. Customers who order gas transport via the said point sign their contracts with GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. on this conditions. The present technical capacity of gas transmission via the Hermanowice point to Ukraine is 4 million m³/day.
