GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. among the top Best Employers in 2011
GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. has been awarded first place in the "Large Company” category in the Best Employers in 2011 survey in Central and Eastern Europe, conducted by Aon Hewitt.In the "Large Company” category in Poland GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. came in 2nd place.In the Best Employers survey that has been conducted in Poland by the Aon Hewitt Company since 2006, workers express their opinions about their employers. The key to analyse involvement is satisfaction from various areas of the working environment. This year, 112 companies took part in the survey.
The involvement indicator of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. employees amounted to 80 %. This is 7 percentage points more in comparison to last year's result (73%). This means that the majority of employees have a positive opinion about the Company and want to continue working there.
The involvement indicator obtained puts GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. 6 percentage points above the average score in Poland and 39 percentage points above the average in the energy sector, which makes GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. the leader in the survey among employers of the same sector of economy.
Employees indicated the strongest aspects of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. to be:
• the Company's good reputation and standing on the market,
• working conditions that are adapted to the requirements of given positions,
• the possibility of retaining a balance between work and personal life,
• high quality products offered by the Company.
Communication was, among others, one of the best rated areas in comparison to last year's survey. Significantly more employees in comparison to last year's survey pointed out that they were being promptly informed about any changes that were being implemented in the Company.
Another fact deserving attention is that the majority of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. employees who took part in the survey declared that they would like to work in the Company for the rest of their professional career. This result is higher than the average for the Best Employers by as many as 41 percentage points.
GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. employees also consider the corporate image of the Employer as being consistent with their experience of work in the Company.
In this year's Best Employers in 2011 survey in Central and Easter Europe, 479 companies from eight Central and European countries took part: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine.

Last year, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. took a high 3rd place in the "Large Company” category and 5th place in the “Large Enterprise” category in the Best Employers survey conducted in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2009, the Company took 8th place in the "Large Company” category and came 25th in the overall ranking. In 2008, the Company was in 78th place out of 126 surveyed organisations.
Over a period of 6 years, the Best Employers survey has been conducted over 500 times in almost 370 organisations. The whole idea behind the survey is based on surveying involvement and HR practices by means of questionnaires, as well as questionnaires addressed to the representatives of the top management. The results of the survey enable comparisons to be made of the level of involvement of the employees and HR practices that the company harnesses with the actions undertaken in this respect by other entities on the market. It also gives the possibility of specifying the actions that the company should undertake in order to become a better work place.
