Change of the period for submission of request under procedure of providing capacity
A new version of the Transmission Network Code (TNC) approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office in decision No. DRR.WRG.4322.1.2019.AK1 from 26th March 2019 became applicable on 1st April 2019. Hence, in accordance with the said decision, the period for submission of request under procedure of providing capacity has changed.
Previously, submission of the requests for capacity allocation for annual, quarterly and monthly products related to the gas year following the gas year in which the capacity allocation availability procedure is carried out was available from April 20th to May 10th. Currently, this time window has been changed for the new period from June 25th to July 15th (7.7.10.2 TNC v. 27).
Therefore, the upcoming capacity allocation availability procedure will start on 25th June 2019 (the beginning of the time window for submission of the requests under the procedure).
It is worth emphasizing that this change is a reaction of GAZ-SYSTEM to numerous signals from market participants who reported that the period for submitting requests should be closer to the commencement of the next gas year. Please note, that the content of the TNC approved by the President of the Energy Regulation Office was published by GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. in the Customer zone.
