Announcement on natural gas deliveries to Poland

As at 10:00 pm on February 6th 2009, natural gas was being supplied via the Drozdovitse cross-border point at a rate of approximately 12 million cubic metres per day. It means that the volume of natural gas currently being imported from the East account for ca. 93% of the volume originally planned. Higher deliveries are result from dialogue between PGNiG and Gazprom Exportregarding temporary increase of natural gas supplies from Eastern direction.
The contract with RosUkrEnergo AG is still not realised.
PGNiG SA and GAZ-SYSYTEM SA announces that at this time, the demand for natural gas in Poland is fully covered. GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. announced the first level of supply limitations, which means that industrial consumers may now receive gas at contractually planned levels.
