A representative of GAZ-SYSTEM has become a Member of the Management Board of ENTSOG

Photo of the article Paweł Jakubowski, Head of Development Department, GAZ-SYSTEM, has been appointed as a Member of the Management Board of ENTSOG. Member of the Management Board consists of 13 individuals, representing gas transmission operators from the EU Member States.
The designation of the representative of GAZ-SYSTEM proves the company features considerable recognition on the European scene and its involvement in implementation of EU energy policy goals is highly appreciated.  – Through my commitments to the operations in the ENTSOG Management Board, I would like to continue our efforts targeted at expansion of a diversified, integrated and competitive natural gas market in Central Europe and in the Baltic Sea Region declares Paweł Jakubowski, Head of Development Department, GAZ-SYSTEM.
European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) is an organization established back in 2009, aimed at taking up tasks meant to develop an internal natural gas market within the European Union.
Detailed objectives and targets of ENTSOG result from EU legal acts. This organization deals with developing and implementing codes of networks in areas defined by the Regulation 715/2009, drawing up European Community-wide Ten Year Network Development Plans (TYNDP), regional investment plans as well as annual summer and winter deliver forecasts. In addition, it issues recommendations on coordination of technical cooperation among transmission system operators in EU and non-EU countries.
