Workshop on natural gas transmission at the Poland-Ukraine interconnection
Gas Transmission System Operators of Poland and Ukraine - GAZ-SYSTEM and GTSOU respectively - kindly invite natural gas market participants to a workshop dedicated to gas transmission opportunities at the Poland-Ukraine interconnection.
The workshop will be held on 3 February 2026 (10:00-12:00 CET) and it will be available online (on the MS Teams platform).
The workshop is addressed to entities interested in gas transmission at the Poland-Ukraine interconnection, in particular transmission system users, traders and other market participants.
The meeting objectives include a presentation of current and planned infrastructure advancements as well as market opportunities for gas transmission to Ukraine, in addition to discussions on key projects relevant to the development of transmission capacity in the short, medium and long term.
The workshop will address the following issues:
- available transmission capacity towards Ukraine for the 2025/2026 gas year;
- FSRU 2 Terminal project including terminal access regulations for system users and the planned Open Season procedure;
- incremental capacity process and the possibility of offering firm transmission capacity towards Ukraine with a view to securing long-term supplies in that direction.
Registration for the workshop is open by 29 January 2026 (EOB); the participants are requested to complete the registration form available on GAZ-SYSTEM website. After registration, participants will receive a link to join the meeting.
