Information regarding further works connected with assuming management of the Polish section of the Jamal pipeline
The Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. kindly informs that after having been designated by the President of the ERO as the operator of the Polish section of the Jamal pipeline it will commence with preparing the Transmission Network Code (TNC) (the network code that Guenther Oettinger, the Commissioner for Energy, mentioned in his statement). Preparation of such a Code results from the operator agreement signed on 25 October 2010 by EuRoPol GAZ s.a. (pipeline owner) and GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. (future operator) and from binding law. The Code will specify the access principles to the Jamal pipeline, ways of harnessing free capacity on the pipeline and ways of regulating fees for the services provided by the operator. Prior to the Code gaining the force of law it will undergo public consultation with the market participants. This document will receive final approval by the President of the ERO.
