Safe transport of gas: GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. received the Integrated Management System Certificate
The Technical Committee of the Polish Center for Testing and Certification SA (PCBC) awarded GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. an Integrated Management System Certificate No. BS-10/1/2007
valid for a period of two years in the field of organisation and security of natural gas transport via the network of high pressure pipelines throughout the country, as well as sustaining the balance of the transmission network operations including ensuring the security of the functioning of the natural gas transmission system in an environmentally friendly way throughout the entire company.
This has also confirmed the conformity of the binding procedures and guidelines for action in GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. with the requirements of the following standards:
• PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 – “Environmental Management Systems. Requirements and guidelines for application".
• PN-N-18001:2004 – “Health and Safety Management Systems. Requirements”.
The OHS Management System and the Environmental Management System have confirmed that the strategic goal of the Company, namely the transport of natural gas through the national transmission network, independent of its sources of origin, as well as sustaining the balance the transmission network operations is performed in a manner ensuring the security of the transmission system operations and protection of the natural environment.
A supervision audit of the Quality Management System that has been functioning for over a year in GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. has also been carried out in the field of customer services, particularly encompassing the provision of public information, issuing definitions of the terms of connection to the transmission grid, concluding network connection agreements and gas transmission contracts as well as settlement of the services rendered, confirmed compliance with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 standard – “Quality Management Systems. Requirements”. The audit was completed with a positive evaluation issued by the PCBC, and Certificate No. 1869/1/2006 issued last year was sustained.
